Rodmounts has a story behind it. The SUMO rod carrier was created by Brad Evans, an angler with a passion for problem solving and turning good ideas into something useful. Brad passed unexpectedly, leaving behind his work, his designs, and a reminder that life is short and the things we build matter.

When we discovered the pieces of his work, we knew it needed to live on. Not just as a product, but as a way to honor the kind of person who sees a need and quietly steps in to meet it.

Cast It Forward is our commitment to continue Brad’s legacy by giving back. A portion of every sale will go toward helping others who need a second chance, a restart, a new cast. Whether that means supporting youth fishing programs, donating gear, or helping someone get back on their feet, it’s done in Brad’s honor.
